RSC Youth Umpire Standards/Training for Baseball/Softball

Youth Umpire training is taking place Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. You must attend the training session to become a Youth Umpire for the 2023 Season.

Inquire at the office if you are interested. Training will be done in the RSC Conference Room. Just show up prepared to learn!

 Youth Umpire Standards 

- Report to the Runyon office and complete all required employee paperwork.
- Be professional in all I do.
- Attend all required training and/or meetings.
- Stay off my phone once I am on the field.
- Pay attention between innings and try to keep it less than one minute.
- Allow 10-15 minutes maximum between games.
- Treat all coaches and players in the same professional manner.
- Wear approved attire: Gray pants, black shoes, official Runyon youth umpire hat and shirt.
- Report to the office to confirm my assignment and sign in 30 minutes before game time.
- Fill out and have coaches sign the game card before it is turned in to the office.
