The Runyon Field Sports Complex (RFSC) in conjunction with the CSU-Pueblo Athletic department staged it's Annual "Pack the Park" Night on Friday, April 19, 2024. More than 800 kids signed up and were on hand that play in youth baseball and softball leagues at the RFSC. They came wearing their team uniforms to attend a clinic held by the Thunderwolves baseball and softball players.
Divided up by age groups, they were dispersed on all the complex fields to work on their batting, fielding, throwing and catching techniques for an hour under the watchful eyes of their parents and youth coaches.
Afterwards a "Parade of Teams" was held on the Hobbs Field infield. The evening ended with a hotdog dinner (complete with chips and juice) for each player and free admission to the CSU-P baseball game against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) rival Adams State.
