and no steel cleats at all on Corsentino.

Directions to the RSC Sports Complex:
Coming into Pueblo (South on I-25):
Take Exit 98A. Take a right on Sante Fe at stoplight (going north). You will see green directional signs for "Runyon Field". Take interstate entrance for Colorado Springs. Take another left and you will see the sign for Runyon Field.
Coming into Pueblo (North on I-25):
Take Exit 98A. Then just as you get off you will see a green Runyon Field sign. Take a right and you will be in the Sports Complex.
The Runyon Field Sports Complex will be hosting a Home Run Derby beginning at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023.
There will be eight age divisions for the boys and five for the girls. Entry fee is $30 and prizes will be awarded.
Last year's Derby action took place four different field within the complex.

The CSU-Pueblo Fall Baseball School is has started at the Runyon Sports Complex. There are two sessions: September (Session 1) and October/November (Session 2). ThunderWolves head baseball coach Bobby Applegate and current CSU-Pueblo players will work with kids K-12th grade, focusing on each player's skill set.
We will devote 90 minutes to hitting skills which will include the latest technology in Blast motion and with Rapsodo. We will also devote 90 minutes to defensive skills for infielders and outfielders as well as including pitching and catching. This will be a comprehensive skills camp over five sessions. This is a camp you don't want to miss.
Grades: K - 12th
Times: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Cost: $75 per Sessions OR $300 for all 5 Sessions

With the 2023 fastpitch softball season over, teams are starting to think about next year. There are five team tryouts being held in the next month for various age levels, three at the Runyon Sports Complex, one at Stauter Field in Pueblo and the other at Little Potter Park in La Junta, CO. The Runyon Field Sports Complex has announced one of its last big tournaments of the 2023 season - the Fourth Annual Halloween Bash. The softball bash will take place Oct. 20-22 and the baseball bash will follow a week later (Oct. 27-29).
The first SIX (6) teams to sign up in each division will participate in the tournaments, Registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 16. There will also be a costume parade at 2 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 21 (Softball) and Sat. Oct. 28 (Baseball).

HoustonThe extensive renovations to Hobbs Field at the Runyon Field Sports Complex has resumed after almost two months due to a miscalculation in the height of the new dugouts. Both dugout walls have been knocked down and will be built to the specifications as first discussed. Upgrades to the 89-year old facility include infield turf, safety netting on both baselines and a new scorebox that will be placed on the lower level in the middle grandstands section according to Larry Romero, General Manager.
H.W. Houston Construction, LLC of Pueblo, CO is the contractor for this project. H.W. Houston Construction has provided quality commercial work since 1954; from modest remodels to massive projects over 250,000 square feet.
H.W. is commercial general contractor specializing in projects including educational, medical, municipal, detention and governmental.
The expected completion date for the Hobbs renovation has been pushed back to the middle of October, 2023. Hobbs Field should be ready for the 2024 baseball season. Below are current pictures of the renovation taking place. Click HERE to view all the pictures to date from the project.

Please take ALL personal belongings/valuables with you into the complex or leave them at home. Let's knock auto break-ins out of the park!

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the Runyon Field Board of Directors during the 2023 calendar year. All meeting are open to the public and held on the second Monday of the month. The meetings will take place in the Runyon Field Complex Conference Room from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

The Greater Pueblo Sports Association recently added a GPSA sign to the Runyon Field Sports Complex. The sign is located inside the main entrance near the office of the complex. Special thanks goes Larry Romero, interim Genral Manager of the Runyon Sports Complex and his staff, along with the Runyon Board of Directors.
