Teams Share Use Of Runyon Field
The Runyon Sports Complex (RSC) sponsors teams of their own -- The Pueblo Azteca Baseball Club (16U, 17U and 18U) and the Azteca Softball teams (16U, 17U and 18U). These squads play during the summer in various tournaments at the complex, in Colorado and surrounding states.
Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-P) baseball team plays it annual "Pack The Park" game at RSC in the spring and the Thunderwolves softball team uses the complex if the CSU-P campus field is unplayable due to inclement weather.
In addition to the youth baseball and softball teams that invade to play at the RSC, the complex also plays host to area high school baseball (in the spring) and softball (in the fall).
