Runyon Sports Complex Teams Parents/Player Policies and Procedures
Runyon Sports Complex Baseball/Softball leagues are designed to promote sportsmanship, fundamentals, enhance character and provide a safe and healthy environment for our youth to participate in.
- Players will hustle, be coachable, practice and play as coached by Runyon Sports Complex coaches.
- Players will report on time for all scheduled team events. If you are going to be late, call or text the team coach.
- Players and families will show their team, coaches, teammates, officials, opponents and the game respect.
- Keep parent behavior in the stands to the highest standard. Spectators will not use noise makers or music. Spectators will not address any umpires, players or coaches in a negative fashion. Parents are responsible for the behavior of all guests and relatives who attend games. Everything from the stands will be positive and uplifting.
- If you want to discuss your player with a coach, wait until the day following tournament/game play (24-hour rule). Never approach or call a coach to discuss a player during or immediately after a game or tournament. After talking with the head coach, you can email to schedule an appointment with the general manager.
- The game, tournament, and practice schedule are subject to change.
- Players will not be released from rosters until all charges and team fees are paid in full.
- Remember our program philosophy and goals in all decisions. Represent it properly. Parents and players agree that any coaching or management decisions (playing time, positions played, batting order, team placement, etc.) are at the sole discretion of the Head Coach. Any amount of time on the field is not guaranteed.
- Violation of any policies may result in removal from the team/program without refund of fees.
