In 2013 the Runyon Sports Complex Board of Directors created the Wall of Fame as a way to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to Runyon. A significant contribution may include sustaining, helping make improvements, improving the marketability, generating revenue, enhancing the reputation, or improving the services/programs at the Runyon Complex.
Any person, including a board member, can nominate a candidate for election to the Wall of Fame. Candidates can include administrators, announcers, board members, coaches, community members, employees, game officials, players, teams, umpires, and volunteers.
All complete nominations, that are not selected to the Wall of Fame this year, will remain active for five years and will not require a new submission until after the five year period. The Runyon Board of Directors will serve as the selection committee and will vote on the nominations during the January board meeting. All nominations must receive at least 75% of the selection committee's vote in order to be selected to the Wall of Fame. The maximum number of selections to the Wall of Fame each year is six selections.
If you have any questions about the Wall of Fame, nomination process, or if you would like to purchase tickets to the Wall of Fame event, please call the Runyon office at 719-583-6195.

The Greater Pueblo Sports Association recently added a GPSA sign to the Runyon Field Sports Complex. The sign is located inside the main entrance near the office of the complex. Special thanks goes Larry Romero, interim Genral Manager of the Runyon Sports Complex and his staff, along with the Runyon Board of Directors.
The GPSA is a group of people interested in promoting those prominent athletes, sports teams and recreational activities in Pueblo County. Check out their website by clicking on the picture above.
