Runyon Policies

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy
When Runyon cancels: If Runyon Sports Complex cancels a scheduled youth league game, the game will be put on the top of the reschedule request list and teams will be offered an alternate date if available. If the potential dates are not acceptable to both teams, they may be moved to the bottom of the list. Rescheduled games are not guaranteed.

Weather Cancellation: In the event a rainout or other weather related cancellation occurs, the game will be put on the top of the reschedule request list and teams will be offered an alternate date if available. If the potential dates are not acceptable to both teams, they may be moved to the bottom of the list. Rescheduled games are not guaranteed.

When participating teams cancel or fail to report: When participating teams cancel games, they are required to fill out a Reschedule Request form on or web site. Team head coaches are responsible to notify Runyon Sport Complex and the opposing coach, preferably a minimum of 24 hrs prior to cancellation. If teams do not show up for a scheduled event, the opposing team will be granted field use for the duration of the event but are not guaranteed a substitute opponent. Rescheduled games are not guaranteed.

Behavior Violation Policy
Removal by game official: In the event a coach or player is removed from a game by a game official; said coach/player will be suspended for the following 2 scheduled games (minimum).

Removal requiring assistance of Field Directors and/or Security: In the event a coach or player is removed from a game by a game official and requires support of a Field Director or Security, said coach/player will be suspended for the following 4 games (minimum) and may be removed from the league.

Spectator removal: Head coaches are responsible for the behavior of spectators at their scheduled games. In the event a spectator is removed by a Field Director or Security, said spectator will be suspended from the complex for a minimum of 4 games and depending on severity of the incident the head coach may also be suspended.

Note: The duration and severity of suspension within these guidelines is at the discretion of the RSC General Manager upon recommendation of Field Directors and Game Officials. Suspension beyond the 2-4 game minimums require approval and recommendation of the Runyon Board of Directors. Suspension may have a duration of up to the remainder of the current season and additional calendar years or more depending on the severity of the violation and in the event of repeat violations.
