Pueblo South, McClave Capture 2026 HS Summer Ball Championships
The 2026 high school summer baseball league came to a close on Thursday, July 23, with McClave High School winning the Junior Varsity (JV) title and Pueblo South upsetting Pueblo West to take home the Varsity crown.
The 9-team varsity summer season saw Pueblo West on top of the league standings with a 9-1 record, but fell to Pueblo South, 6-3, in the tournament championship game on Hobbs Field. The Colts finished the regular season with a7-3 record.
2026 Varsity HS Summer Baseball Champions: Pueblo South High School
In the 11-team JV division, McClave High School marched to a perfect 10-0 record for the summer and held on to defeat Pueblo Central in the JV tournament championship game on Andenucio Field. The Wildcats finished with the fourth-best regular-season record at 6-1.
